2022年2月8日是第8屆國際反販賣人口的祈禱和省思日，
它的主題為“關懷的力量——婦女、經濟和人口販運”，
聖若瑟芬柏姬達，妳小時候曾被賣為奴，
而且忍受著無盡的艱辛和痛苦。
然而妳已經從奴役的環境裡被釋放出來，
在遭遇中妳竟找到了真正的救贖—基督，
並與祂的教會相遇。
噢！聖柏姬達，請協助所有身陷於奴役狀態的人；
為他們代求天主，
這樣他們就會從他們的囚禁鏈中被釋放出來。
讓天主釋放那些被奴役的人。
為奴隸制度中倖存者提供安慰，
讓他們把妳視為希望和信仰的榜樣。
幫助所有倖存者由傷痛中找到治癒的方法。
為那些奴役我們的人請求妳的祈禱和代禱。

and endured
untold hardship and suffering.
Once
liberated from your physical enslavement,
You found
true redemption in your encounter with
Christ and
his Church.
O St.
Bakhita, assist all those who are trapped in a state of slavery;
Intercede
with God on their behalf
So that
they will be released from their chains of captivity.
Those whom
man enslaves, let God set free.
Provide
comfort to survivors of slavery
and let
them look to you as an example of hope and faith.
Help all
survivors find healing from their wounds.
We ask for
your prayers and intercessions for
those
enslaved among us.
